when I heard about blog for first time I wondered how this blogs can play great role in educational process. I asked my self a lot of questions and I end with this ideas:
First of all, when the student use blog this will help learning to be independent of time and place also this will allow student to study in any time and any place and avoid boring and routine class. In addition, blog will help teachers to teach in any time and any place. on the other hand, some students don’t like this way of teaching and they cant understand easily if they don’t learn from teacher himself as face to face meeting .secondly, using blog encourage learners to be active through the course period. When they discuss the topics with other student they all will be active and learn new things and get benefits from others experiences .On the same time it will be difficult for some students who are under heavy time pressure or who have job beside university. Other important point that using a blog helps learners improve their writing competencies, when the learners write a lot through the blog they will improve their writing skills and they will learn from their grammar and spelling mistakes while some times using blog reduce direct communication between people so I think they must learn in both ways traditional (face to face meeting) and using technology in learning.
